WHEN LIFE‘S GOOD, SHARE IT.
1. No purchase necessary: The Life's Good Moments monthly photo competition (each a "Competition") is free to enter.
2. Terms: By uploading your photo to the Life's Good Moments website ("Website") or by voting for your favourite photo, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions, LG's general website terms and conditions found at www.lg.com/uk/general/legal.jsp and LG's privacy policy found at www.lg.com/uk/general/privacy.jsp.
3. How to enter: Should you wish to enter the Competition, simply upload your photo to the Website. Should you wish to enter the prize draw, simply vote for your favourite photo. Only one entry per person to the Competition and the prize draw per month.
4. Entry requirements: The Competition and the prize draw is only open to UK residents at the time the prizes are awarded. Employees of the Promoter or of companies involved in the creation of the Competition are not entitled to enter. Entrants under the age of 18 must have parental consent prior to entry. Proof of parental consent (a signed letter from a parent or guardian) will be required before any prize is distributed to anyone under the age of 18.
5. Closing Date: The closing date for each monthly Competition is midnight on the last calendar day of the month. Entries received after that date will be submitted into the following month's competition (if any).
6. The Competition: The Competition runs on a monthly basis. The month in which you upload your photo will be the month in which the photo is entered to the Competition.
7. Competition Prizes: There is one prize per monthly Competition which will be awarded to the entrant with the most votes. Examples of the prizes available are shown on the Website. These are indicative of the types of prize available but no guarantee is made that a featured product will be awarded. However, if that product is not available then the Promoter will provide another LG product (chosen at its sole discretion) to an approximately equivalent value.
8. Voting and the Prize Draw: Voting for the entries will not commence until the end of each month. After one calendar month, voting for the previous month's Competition closes. Only one vote per person.
9. Prize Draw Prizes: There is one prize per month for a voter selected at random by an independent person. Examples of the prizes available are shown on the Website. These are indicative of the types of prize available but no guarantee is made that a featured product will be awarded. However, if that product is not available then the Promoter will provide another LG product (chosen at its sole discretion) to an approximately equivalent value.
10. No prizes in certain circumstances: The Promoter reserves the right, at its sole discretion, not to award a prize to an entrant or a voter in any particular month in which the Promoter deems that there are insufficient entries or votes or the Promoter deems that entries are not of sufficient quality.
11. Notification: The Promoter will endeavour to inform winners of each monthly Competition within 60 days of closure of voting. Winners will be contacted via their supplied email address. Prize-winners names and general location will be posted on the Website. In the event that a winner cannot be contacted within 14 days, that winner will forfeit their prize and the Promoter may at its sole discretion award the prize to another entrant and/or randomly draw another voter.
12. Disqualification: If the Promoter believes that there have been voting irregularities or there is a breach of these terms and conditions by any entrant or voter then the Promoter will, at its sole discretion, be entitled to withhold the prize and award it a runner-up and/or randomly draw another voter.
13. No exchange: Prizes are non transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other alternative. However, as stated above, prizes are subject to availability and the Promoter reserves the right to change the prize at anytime.
14. No correspondence: All decisions regarding the winners and prizes are final. No correspondence will be entered into by the Promoter.
15. Rights you give the Promoter: By submitting a photo to a Competition you give the Promoter a non-exclusive, irrevocable, fully paid, royalty free, sub-licensable and worldwide licence to use (i) your name and details for the purposes of identifying you as an entrant, voter or winner and (ii) to use, edit, modify, display, publish, reproduce, communicate and distribute your photo:
- a. for the purpose of displaying it on the LG Piccadilly screen;
- b. on the Website or on any other media where LG showcases its products and contents, including (but not limited to) YouTube and the LG blog;
- c. to ensure it complies with these terms and conditions and to ensure that the photos are of a correct size for the LG Piccadilly screen and Website;
- d. for any other purpose deemed reasonably necessary or desirable by the Promoter.
16. Content submitted by others: You acknowledge that all information, text, photos, graphics, messages and other materials ("Content") submitted to the Website are the sole responsibility of the person who uploaded the Content. You acknowledge that the Promoter does not control the ownership of the Content posted and as such, do not accept responsibility for the Content submitted, nor guarantee the accuracy, integrity or quality of such Content.
17. General Website Rules: You agree not to use the Website to:
- a. upload, post, email or otherwise transmit any Content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, tortuous, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libellous, invasive of another's privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable;
- b. disguise the origin of any Content transmitted through the website;
- c. upload, post, email or otherwise transmit any Content that you do not have a right to transmit under any law or under contractual or fiduciary relationships (such as inside information, proprietary and confidential information learned or disclosed as part of employment relationships or under nondisclosure agreements);
- d. upload, post, email or otherwise transmit any Content that infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright or other proprietary rights of any party;
- e. upload, post, email or otherwise transmit any material that contains software viruses or any other computer code, files or programs designed to interrupt, damage, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware or telecommunications equipment;
- f. interfere with or disrupt the Services or servers or networks connected to the website, or disobey any requirements, procedures, policies or regulations of networks connected to the website;
- g. intentionally or unintentionally violate any applicable law or regulation including, but not limited to, regulations promulgated by any securities exchange;
- h. "stalk" or otherwise harass another;
- i. extract, collect, process, combine or store personal data about other users.
18. Ownership of Content: By submitting Content to the Website, you warrant that the Content (i) is owned by you (ii) is your original work (iii) does not contain any third party or content that you do not have permission to use (iv) is free from any third party rights. You agree that you can grant the rights granted to the Promoter under this Agreement and will indemnify the Promoter in respect of any claims, damages and costs arising out of your breach of any of these terms and conditions.
19. Promoter Discretion: The Promoter reserves the right to choose which photos will be uploaded to the website and to the LG Piccadilly screen. The Promoter may take down any Content at any time from the Website and any other media in which it is displayed.
20. Liability: Save for any liability which cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter cannot accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by an entrant as a result of entering the Competition or the prize draw.
21. Withdrawal of photo: If you wish to withdraw a photo you have submitted, please get in contact via the Website as soon as possible, providing exactly the same details you submitted at the time of entry, including your name and contact details. Please note that a photo that has won a prize cannot be deleted from the Website or its gallery. Any photo that has been made part of a showcase-reel cannot be removed after the reel has been completed and launched.
22. No Sale: Your Content will not be distributed or sold on to any other third party without gaining prior consent.
23. No Return: The Promoter regrets that it cannot return any entries to the Competition, so please retain a copy of your photo prior to submitting it to the Website.
24. Amendment/cancellation: The Promoter reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions and/or to amend, suspend or cancel the competition at any time and without prior notice.
25. Governing law: The Competition and prize draw are governed by English Law and the English Courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
